  1. "Be Kind" by Pat Zietlow Miller: Each act,big or small, can make a difference or atleast help a friend. When a young girl name Tanisha spills grape juice all over her new dress, her classmate wants to make her feel better and remembers that Mom always says, "Be Kind".

  2. "The Three questions" by Leo Tolstoy: It tells us about time and how precious time is.Definitely a must read.

  3. "Night Tree" by Eve Bunting: This book is about a family that goes out looking for a real Christmas tree. The family had planted their very own tree in woods. Each year they would look at it to see if it was the perfect size to decorate it. They decorate it in the woods so that animals would enjoy eating them.

  4. "Hypercapitalism" by Larry Gonick & Tim Kasser: A very good book to adults and kids about how economy works. It is a talking point of 21 century politics and culture.This book emphasizes on psychological effect and social cost of commercialism.

  5. "Good Night stories for Rebel Girls" by Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo: Its is a series of two children's books, aimed for aged 6 and up.This book features short stories about 100 real extraordinary women from the past and present who can be a role models to children.

  6. "The Atlas Obscura" Explorers guide for the World's most Adventurous Kid by Dylan Thuras and Rosemary Mosco: This book launches into an adventure plan of 100 places in nearly 50 countries. This book is structured with far-flung yet similar places, such as sunken cities,lava lakes, amusement parks, Zambia devil's swimming pool! and many more.

  7. "How to Build a Hug" Temple Grandin and her Amazing Squeeze Machine:This book chronicles Animal Scientist and Autism Spokesperson Temple Grandin's efforts to invent a hug machine. Its is a playful narrative of a children's book.
